We take the children on multiple field trips a week throughout the entire summer. For example, we take them bowling, to the movies, and to other places such as WonderWorks and the Orlando Science Center. Keeping the camp fun and educational is important to us at American Top Team for our Longwood community.
We offer some of the best hours for any camp in the Orlando area and we are open all summer. Camp begins as soon as Seminole County schools close and camp goes on until schools reopen.
This year camp begins on May 28th, and ends on August 9th, 2024.
We are open for camp from 7AM-6:15PM and the academy is open until 9PM, daily.
You will find American Top Team in Longwood has the most convenient summer camp in the Orlando area with a very accommodating staff!
Throughout the year, we offer children’s classes in Boxing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai Kickboxing and Wrestling. Members of the summer camp have access to those classes, as well as supplemental morning classes with weekly themes. We also offer extra classes in Bully Prevention and sport MMA that are not offered throughout the year.
We find that our students become more confident to stand up to bullies and have more humility and kindness to others through their martial arts lessons.
Yes! One of the great things about martial arts classes, is that it’s an individual sport, done in a group environment. We find all our students improve in their focus, self control, discipline and social skills. But the best part is…. They don’t even realize that is what our highly trained kids martial arts instructors are actually doing. They just think they are having fun!

Not at all. You will find that martial arts classes are the PERFECT sport for kids who are not good at sports. Kids martial arts classes really are an individual after school activity, that they do in a group.
The journey from white belt to black belt is different for each student. But what is the same for everyone: they improve co-ordination, balance, motor skills, focus and discipline. Plus, they make lots of great friends!
Our instructors are highly skilled in teaching kids martial arts. It’s their PASSION!
This is probably the BEST kids activity for children who sit a lot!
Getting them active, without them realizing they are learning, is our skill. Kicking and punching pads is such a great stress relief, that kids blossom in all areas – because of their martial arts training.
