1. Martial Arts

We offer a general adult martial arts class that incorporates modalities from all of the other martial arts programs we offer – and all of our students love it.
You’ll learn how to practice self-defense properly, have a blast with like-minded people, and break quite a sweat too. We condition at the beginning of class, run through drills and teach new skills, and then finish with a cool-off.
You will get sweaty in this class- so if you’re a beginner to martial arts in general and looking for the best martial arts for fitness, our Adult Martial Arts class should do the trick.
2. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ) is a different form of martial arts that is practiced around the world. It involves more groundwork and leveraging your body through physics and motion to fend off an attacker that may be bigger and stronger than you. Many women’s self-defense classes, including our own, will take pages from BJJ. BJJ also takes the cake on groundwork- that means a lot of working on your core! All who desire shredded abs, attend a BJJ class -might be the best martial arts for fitness for you.
3. Muay Thai and Krav Maga

Muay Thai and Krav Maga will both kick your butt into the next town over. Our Muay Thai classes are for you if you’re looking to train competitively and fight on the mat. You’ll also learn how to attack with your elbows and knees instead of just punching and kicking.
Krav Maga teaches effective and practical self-defense in a boot camp style, as this form of martial arts was originally developed in the Israeli army for the Israeli soldiers. Both Muay Thai and Krav Maga are intense forms of training, and you’re sure to get a fantastic workout in each class – the best martial arts for fitness is dependent on if you want to compete and use elbows and knees, or if you want to focus more on real life self-defense applications.
